Snow Tinted Edinburgh Part 1

The snow finally reached Edinburgh this week, although so far we seem to have not had nearly as much as the rest of the country.

Lamenting that the snow didn’t manage to arrive in time for Christmas we decided to go for a little wander around the neighbourhood to inspect the snow covered views.

It hadn’t really settled on the ground much but the trees and the Meadows still looked really pretty.

Of course it was very cold so we soon sought the warmth of a cafe and defrosted over coffee. I hope the snow stays for just a little bit longer, I love being able to observe the changing seasons and it makes familiar landscapes look different and interesting. By the sound of it we have at least a few more days of wintry views ahead of us.
